Locks of Love

Today Bailey was finally able to get her hair cut. For those of you that don't know, she has been growing her hair out for about two years and it was finally long enough to be cut for Locks of Love (needs to be 10 inches from top of pony to the bottom - we have that exactly and then probably another inch to two for a total). They accept photos of people's experiences so we emailed those today along with this note:

My 12 year old daughter, Bailey Barnes, has been growing her hair for two years and just had her hair cut this morning for Locks of Love. Her hair had been getting long & is very thick and I, her mother, had suggested that she donate it to your organization. She agreed that it would be a great idea and that she wanted to be able to help children out that need it. We would like to share the photos of her process today with you, and the hair is in the mail!

That's great! My 6 year old niece just did the same thing!! Aren't kids awesome! I'm too vain to do that. My hair looks terrible short.(Hey, at least I admit it.)
