BEAT KU!!!
A girlfriend just sent this to me & I just had to post it:
Four football fans go rock climbing one afternoon, a
Nebraska fan, an Oklahoma
fan, a Kansas
fan, and a Mizzou fan. They had been arguing all the way up the mountain
about who among them was the most die-hard fan.
Upon reaching the top of the mountain, the Nebraska fan proclaimed to the other
three, "THIS IS FOR THE HUSKERS!" and promptly threw himself off the
mountain as a form of sacrifice, screaming "GO BIG RED!" as he fell
to his death.
Not to be outdone, the Oklahoma
fan jumped up and shouted, "THIS IS FOR THE SOONERS!" and threw
himself off the mountain.
Refusing to be
outdone by the Nebraska and Oklahoma fans, the Mizzou fan rose to his feet and
yelled at the top of his lungs, "THIS IS FOR THE MISSOURI
TIGERS!" and without hesitation pushed the Kansas fan off the mountain shouting, "FLY JAYHAWK FLY!!!"

Way to Go TIGERS!!!!!
Our Tigers just beat Kansas State 49-32 making us 10-1!! Our last conference game is next Saturday vs KU @ Arrowhead in Kansas City...this will be a big game for us so cheer & pray for Mizzou!

Teenie Rant/Annoyance
Ok, so as you all know Mizzou won this weekend & they're doing great right...well here is the tiny rant/annoyance:
When people come up to me after the game with this line: "So how is Don feeling?" Duh how the hell do you think he's feeling, "oh, he's really depressed...you know it's really hard to deal with being 9-1!"
Yeah, yeah I know...they are just trying to be nice but come on, these are educated people & that's all they can come up with?!?!

9-1 Baby!!
Way to go Tigers with another victory, against Texas A&M, with a score of 40-26! Tigers are now 9-1!!! We now ranked 5 in the BCS standings & 6 in the rest!
Next week they the take on Kansas State in Manhattan, KS with an 11:30 kick-off!
Got to Love them Tigers!!

Pork Products
I was just thinking of this funny story & thought I would share it with all of you!
The Friday evening before school started we had gone to a friend's party, and on the way we home we realized that we needed some milk at home so Don made a detour to get some. While he was in the store the kids and I started talking about the start of school (after a long summer home us mom's have to do a lot of "positive, pump 'em up" talk about school).
We started talking about differences in this year, classmates, teachers, etc. Nicholas' teacher this year is Mrs. Bacon and his grade gets a new music teacher, Ms. Pam (she likes to go by that instead of her last name because it's easier for them to pronounce). So I say to him, "Nico, music will be really fun this year because you get to have Ms. Pam for music!" There is moment of gears turning in his head and comes back with, "What??? You mean to tell me I have Ham & Bacon for teachers??" I couldn't stop laughing...Poor kid thought he had teachers with pork names! (He was all the way in the back of the Explorer and couldn't hear me very well).

The Tigers have Been "Unleashed"
Way to go Tigers! This past Saturday Mizzou took on the Colorado Buffaloes in Colorado and turned them into Buffalo Burgers. The final score was 55-10, this now makes them 8-1 and now ranked #6 in the BCS Standings!
We hadn't beat them in Colorado since 1997....this victory was needed!
